Arriving: Please utilize the parking lot of the Law Firm on South St., the parking lot of the Music School on Fayette St., or any roadside parking that is available. The UBC parking lot must remain for handicap use only. We are striving to honor the request of UBC to ensure that when their service begins the parking lot will be open for their use. If you do not have a handicap plate on your vehicle please do not park in the UBC parking lot.
Building Entry: There will be one way traffic within the building for entry and exit. The entrance to be used by all is the main entrance of the sanctuary. The exit (other than for wheelchair needs) will be the staircase that leads to the UBC parking lot.
When entering the building we will have Greeters positioned outside of the building at the staircase to smile and welcome you in. Hand sanitizer will be available for your use as you enter the foyer as well as a supply of masks if you need one. Ushers (wearing masks & name tags) will be located at the doors to the sanctuary and will ask you how many are in your family. They will bring you to a seating area for your family based on the number of people attending the service.
Each family will be seated together in a grouping of chairs that will allow for spacial distancing from other family units.
Hugs, Handshakes, Fistbumps: In order to avoid the discomfort of anyone in attendance we are asking that you refrain from hugs, handshakes, and fist bumps. We know some greatly desire physical contact and others do not. Rather than make it awkward just Smile, Wave, and Say “Hello!” but do so at a distance to help connect and care for one another.
Families with infants: We will have the Nursery staffed and open for children under the age of 2. If you are choosing to check in your child please have one parent only bring them directly to the Nursery when you arrive. The Nursery Staff will meet you at the door at the bottom of the stairs and assist you with checking in your child. Parents will not have access to the Nursery. You will receive a sticker with your check-in number in case you need to be called during service. Please do not bring any items with your child to go into the Nursery.
Families with kids age 2-4: On Sunday, August 2 we will open our Jr. Kid's Room. The room will be setup in such a way as to allow for physical distancing while also creating space for active learning of God's great love for them. The Jr. Kid's Staff will meet you at the bottom of the stairs and assist you with checking in your child. Parents will not have access to the Jr. Kid's Room. You will receive a sticker with your check-in number in case you need to be called during service. Please do not bring any items with your child to go into the Jr. Kid's Room.
Restrooms: Restrooms will be available as single-use only. There will be signage on the doors identifying whether they are occupied or not. If they are in use please wait outside behind the lines on the floor. Upon the completion of your use of the restroom there will be sanitizing wipes available. Please wipe down every surface you touched including toilet seats, flush handles, stall doors, faucets, doors, and light switches. Discard the wipe in the trash can provided outside the restroom doors.
Offering: A locked box will be available at the front of the room upon the end of our service. As you are exiting, if you have a check or cash to give please place it in that location. You can also give online at https://rfcnh.churchcenter.com/giving or Text To Give by texting any dollar amount to 84321.
Masks: We will have masks available for anyone that wants one and strongly encourage the wearing of a mask while we are singing as well as when Communion is being served. Some may choose to wear a mask, others may not. These are decisions that each person will make and we will maintain an atmosphere of respect for each persons’ personal choice. If being in an environment where people may not be wearing a mask is a difficulty for you we would ask that you remain at home and connect with our Online Service each Sunday at 6pm at http://rfcnh.online.church
Communion: We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the second Sunday of each month. When we do each family unit will remain seated and a team that will be masked and gloved will be coming to you to distribute the elements.
Conclusion of Service: Immediately after our service we must ask that everyone exits the building by using the doorway at the front of the sanctuary. This will lead you up a short flight of stairs and then a left turn to go down a stairway to the parking lot exit. If you desire to linger and connect with people from the service we ask that you do that in the Fletcher-Murphy Playlot across the street from the building. This is a great outdoor space that allows for play space for kids in a safe, fenced in area. We cannot allow for anyone to remain in the building after service to fellowship as we will need to take the necessary steps to sanitize the space for the next group that will use the building after us.
Cleaning & Sanitizing of the Building: We, along with United Baptist Church, are taking the extra precautions to ensure that all common area surfaces including the chairs will be sanitized before and after each use. Our Nursery area has three different and unique toy bins that will be rotated every three weeks into operation and sanitized between each use.
