Serve The City

But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

Jeremiah 29:7

Our outreach ministries are targeted towards the homeless, those struggling with addiction, single parents, and refugees.
We partner with local organizations to help resource people in need. Rather than trying to reinvent the wheel we want to support and encourage those already doing great work in the community by sending people to help. From serving with another in the local church at a food pantry to preparing meals at The Friendly Kitchen on the first and the fourth Saturday of each month, we want to serve wherever we can. We work with the Concord School District and Overcomer's Refugee Services to provide “new to you” bicycles to refugees who need reliable transportation.  We also have a team that serves at The Gathering Place where a monthly meal is prepared and served to-go style to anyone who is in need of a great meal.

Missions is a big part of everything we do. As believers, we’ve all been given a mandate by Christ to “Go and make disciples of all nations.”  RFC endeavors to advance the Kingdom of Heaven in our “Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

We do this locally by serving the community around us. We also support others around the world who are bringing the love of Christ to areas outside of our personal reach.
